The NL West Arizona Diamondbacks:

The Arizona Diamondbacks made their Major League Baseball debut (expansion team) in 1998. Bank One Ballpark, a modern day stadium was built for the Diamondbacks. This stadium cost somewhere between $350 and $414 million to build. With a retractable roof and an 8,000-ton air conditioning system, you are sure to keep cool. The nine million pound roof can close in less than five minutes if need be. It can also open half way, allowing much needed sunlight onto the playing field which consists of Kentucky Blue Grass. This stadium features a pool close enough to watch the game from. Diamondback homeruns are praised with a water cannon display that can shoot water up to 35 ft. aloft.

On November 4, 2001; the Diamondbacks won their first World Series Championship. Playing against the New York Yankees, the Diamondbacks brought home the title winning 4-3.
